email problems

Is it just me, or is the mail service down?  My email address is, for historical reasons, a globalnet one but it's delivered (or not, currently) by Plusnet (following their swallowing-up of first globalnet, then madasafish).

Re: email problems

@billswan It is still working - for Plusnet addresses, anyway. What's your problem?

Re: email problems

Probably a full mailbox. The legacy brands only have 250MB of storage.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Re: email problems

I rebooted everything - router factory re-set, power off, on, PC shutdown, full power off then full start-up.  And it's now working fine.

I'm sorry to have troubled you - I have no idea what the problem was.  I use MS:Outlook client for my email (not webmail) so all messages are downloaded, and not stored on and clogging up a Plusnet server.

Thank you.

Re: email problems

Is the outlook client configured as POP3?

If you access the mailbox using webmail, what does it find in the mailbox?
