BT / EE Trial and plusnet cancellation charges

Good Evening, I've been selected by BT / EE for their ten week trial, but have a long contract with plusnet for fttp still, does anybody know if this cancellation charge can be waived as it's a BT group company and trial? Live chat were unsure at plusnet. Many thanks.

Re: BT / EE Trial and plusnet cancellation charges

Are you being offered the 1.2/1.8 Gbps FTTP trial?

Try contacting Customer Options team during normal business hours to see what they say?

0800 013 2632 (choose 'leaving' option to get to right team)

The agent has to put a marker on your account in order to waive early termination fees. You then have to complete the move to BT/EE within 30 days.

I moved from Plusnet FTTC (not FTTP) to BT FTTP two months ago.

I screwed up and did not give BT my old Plusnet landline number so they did not terminate the phone and FTTC line.
