There is clearly an issue which needs investigating but how to engage?

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

I've just phoned NS&I, they say they are aware of the network issue and are working on it - it is temperamental, sometimes working, sometimes not.
PS. Phone originally answered by a very friendly sounding chap, very responsive to speech/answers/questions etc. But...
I asked him if he was a human. He politely replied that he wasn't. 🙂
Such is our world now...

Now NS&I doesn't work for me.
The problem may be web browsers and cookies. And over-optimistic cookie expectations from NS&I?

I phoned support and they made some configuration changes, and after a router reboot the problem has been fixed for the affected sites. Whatever was done has changed the IP address but it's unclear yet whether it's still static.

The issue of not reaching the NS&I login page - and some other sites too - gets fixed after you contact support. Log-in issues are something else - quite commonly reported with NS&I but thats not a PN thing.

The fix possibly relates to the plusnet broadband firewall - that can be configured from the account pages so thats something worth trying (with router restart) for anyone still seeing this issue

To be clear - are we talking about the thread issue - which is
- able to load nsandi.com/
- but cannot load the login page after clicking the log in button
If so then
- Go to page plus.net/member-centre/broadband/firewall
- check it's actually off
Or is the issue a failure to log in to NS I even though the page loads OK?

I'm sorry, but it has nothing whatsoever to do with "logging on to NS&I issues" (or Cookies) it is clearly an Internet routing issue. There is no IP 'line' from 'here' to 'there' - via ping or tracert. Neither of which depend on "logging on" or cookies.
Issue is still there today.
