Can't reach NS&I login page

am not convinced it is a 'Plusnet' issue - I can't access it over my Zen connection, either, although I can reach the login page via the 'home' NS&I  site. Don't know if you can login from there - I don't have an NS&I account to try.”

@Champnet to confirm , secure.nsandi.com is not accesible from a Zen connection. Going to the login page via nsandi.com does allow login from a Zen connection ( I do have an NS & I account!). Going to the login page via nsandi.com from a PN connection (80.229... static IP) results in it timing out.

@bobpullen  also confirmed earlier that secure.nsandi.com doesnt work from an EE connection either.

Like you, I'm a bit surprised , given the above, that its not all over the internet ?

@jab1 I don’t think it’s a DNS problem, I would suspect a security issue but again you’re the exception.
I thought maybe a routing table fault but how can you program a rule that covers Plusnet customers and one Zen customer using the Openreach infrastructure ?
Anyone else on Openreach but not a Plusnet customer having problems ?

@RobK It is NOT just Plusnet - as has been said above, I can't go direct to the 'secure.nsandi' site, but can reach the login page if I go via their homepage. The issue is somewhere deeper in the routing.

I have just rechecked and I can reach the NS&I login / register page either directly or via their home page. I am on Zen but unlike others here I am on the City Fibre network. I am using W11 and Edge. Also works on Chrome. IP4 connection. Thus, is the problem confined to trying from the Openreach network?

Strange, @jgb . As I said, my only connection with BT/OR is the wires - Zen don't touch the BT network on a 'transport' level at all.

@jab1 yes they do, they still use BTwholesale for many of their connections. Only the City Fibre ones avoid BT completely

As I said I am on Zen but with a City Fibre connection; no BT Openreach wires or fibre at my end. However I am ignorant of whether or not City Fibre interact / connect with the Openreach network somewhere down the line.

As @jab1 says Zen do use Openreach where City Fibre is not available. They used to do so around here up until a few months ago when City Fibre went live her (and Zen's prices dropped!!)

@MisterW my MTR never seems to complete - I get so far and then it just hangs - various numbers of hops, but never seems to reach the destination. Although I can always get to the sites in the normal way.
