I'm seriously considering binning Plusnet off, they've not honoured their side of the contract, never come close to minimum line speed, yet they've the gaul to offer me only £80 refund, not paid back to me, but in credit, when I've paid them in excess of £1200 since 2019 in monthly direct debits, basically I've had approx 10 percent connection & been charged for the pleasure.
I've had around 15 BT engineer visits, most of em are village idiots & care little to diagnose & repair the fault, everyone is actually using BT's network regardless who's router u use.
Best option I've come up with, is buy mini wifi hub, buy an unlimited data Sim card for it from the service provider in your area that has mobile masts near your address & be free from the [-Censored-] BT network & charlatans like Plusnet.

Mines back up now, but internet was off for around an hour. Service levels have dropped considerably since covid lockdowns, but prices continue to shoot up. Time to look at alternative suppliers, I’ve been a loyal Plusnet customer for around 20 years now, but their service isn’t good enough.

You need to switch 'Auto' off and then you can edit:
If it helped click the thumb
If it fixed it click 'This fixed my problem'

It looks like total "Radio Silence" from PlusNet on this problem......
Never apologise, never explain.... 😡
Wikipedia:
The originator of this commonly used phrase, often attributed to members of the House of Windsor (British Royalty), Duke of Wellington, Benjamin Disraeli and others, is said to be John Arbuthnot Fisher, a notable British Admiral of the Victorian and Edwardian era. ("Boldness has genius, power and magic in it ... Never contradict. Never explain. Never apologise"). And even earlier, King Charles I of England is quoted in The Oxford Dictionary of Quotations as writing "Never make a defence or apology before you be accused", in a letter to Lord Wentworth as long ago as 1636.
