Difficulties Reaching Customer Support via Phone or Chat

Hi There
I need to cancel my account because I am moving. I am unable to reach customer support via chat. Chat has been down for days. No I do not think I have pop-up blocking issues. Tried multiple devices. Also, I cannot reach support via phone via both PlusNet numbers. The wait time is usually about a half hour to an hour before the line just drops me for some reason. At any rate, that long of a wait is not great for a support team. Please advise if there is another route to take with this.

The another option to contact plusnet is via Twitter @Plusnet
The published phone number for cancellations is 0800 432 0200 but I expect that's the number you've already tried.

It is recommended that for your own peace of mind, any letter containing a cancellation request for cease of service is sent by recorded delivery. We cannot accept responsibility for lost letters not sent in this way. The letter must state the name of the account holder, the account username, the full address of where we are providing the service as well as the telephone number which we are providing the service on.
