Does anyone know when houses in TQ3 are getting full fibre?

As the title says - when will it be?! Address isn't exactly rural and has over 100 properties on it, I see Openreach/EE staff on the street often recently, but according to Openreach theres currently "no plans" for improvement here.

Best speed we can get, and has been the same for years, is around 15dl 2up

Would be great to see an increase in speeds, especially for WFH's and business owners who run online businesses

@tobieclarke1

Assuming that they are Openreach and not an Altnet have you checked that there's no local scheme running such as this: https://www.openreach.com/fibre-broadband/fibre-community-partnership/connect-my-community?

We are currently going through the process  of having Full Fibre installed, currently in the Nimby's complaining about poles stage. Connecting our village doesn't appear in the Openreach grand plan as it's seen as a small local project.

Re: Does anyone know when houses in TQ3 are getting full fibre?

Thank you, just had a read through that but unfortunately it says my post code isn't involved

According to https://labs.thinkbroadband.com/local/broadband-map#15/50.4271/-3.5870/test/ theres FTTP at this postcode, but nobody I have spoken to has it here, and none of the available checkers have it marked as available at any of the TQ3 addresses I have tested!

Super frustrating because according to this map theres properties a 30 second drive away getting up to 900mbps down

@tobieclarke1

What does the following saying for your address.

https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL

I assume from your comments you've looked at www.openreach.com

Re: Does anyone know when houses in TQ3 are getting full fibre?

Thanks, I have looked at that before

This is the result;

FTTP is not available.

As a fibre priority exchange, FTTP has priority over other products if available at the address

As a WLR withdrawal exchange, product restrictions apply

SOADSL is not restricted at the exchange

For all ADSL and WBC Fibre to the Cabinet (VDSL or G.fast) services, the stable line rate will be determined during the first 10 days of service usage.

For all SOADSL services,the stable line rate will be determined during the first 10 days of service usage.

Actual speeds experienced by end users and quoted by CPs will be lower due to a number of factors within and external to BT's network, Communication Providers' networks and within customer premises.

In order to be eligible for handback, downstream speed should be less than Downstream Handback Threshold values.

If you decide to place an order for a WBC fibre product, an appointment may be required for an engineer to visit the end user's premises to supply the service

ADSL, ADSL2+ and SOADSL availability: If shown at FTTP or SOGEA premises,ADSL, ADSL2+ and SOADSL are not available to order due to WLR Withdrawal stop sell rules. CPs should order FTTP or SOGEA. Copper products are only available by exception.
