FTTC to FTTP upgrade

I have been offered an upgrade from Fibre Extra Broadband FTTC to the Unlimited Fibre Extra FTTP service. Reading that Openreach have sold copper ahead form £105mn; I guess they want the segment that services my property (j/k)! In the summer of ’21 the close was dug up by Cityfibre to install straws and tobys. I have a toby outside of my property. My residential area was built in the ‘70’s; Openreach telephony services are distributed by means of an armoured cable, not ducted, terminating in a large toby from which the individual pairs star out to the properties. Openreach have installed fibre along the main drag. ASFIK no properties on the close have an Openreach fibre service, one has the Cityfibre service.
I have some very basic questions. Hopefully this community will be able to help me with an answer.
- Service to the property. What is the likely method by which Openreach will install fibre to my property?
- Broadband ONT.
- Which Optical Network Termination box; ONT1+1 or ONT1+0?
- Which manufacturer supplies the Openreach ONT box?
- What is the ONT Ethernet (WAN/LAN1) port bitrate (Mb/s)?
- What Ethernet Cat(x) is recommended for the WAN/LAN1 port?
- Plusnet Hub Two. I have been unable to find a device specification.
- Are the router’s Ethernet ports maximum bitrate 1Gb/s or 2.5Gb/s?
- What is its WiFi specification?
- Which security protocol?
- Presumably PSTN will be obsoleted and replaced by VoIP (Digital Voice?).
- If an ONT1+0 is fitted where will the DECT base station connect?
Thanks.

While hiding your details can you post a screen image of the results from the following, Including the narrative.

@Auric I am sorry - your post does not make much sense - to me.
Before we attempt to help you, maybe you could post a screenshot of the full result from here:https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL
As to your numbered questions:
(1) As you are underground fed, then the FTTP cables will follow a similar path - although I suspect these will be in ducting - I don't think they do armoured FTTP cable.
(2) (1)The ONT will be single port.
(2) Don't know, but does it matter?
(3) 1000
(4) 5e
(3) The Hub2's Ethernet ports are 1Gb, I understand it is WiFi5 and WPA-AES
(4) If you go to FTTP, then yes, you will lose the PSTN line/connection, as Full Fibre is supplied over a different technology/infrastructure.
Plusnet do not offer a VoIP solution - if you wish to retain your 'landline', you will have to source a VoIP solution yourself.

@JAB Thanks for the replies. Not sure why my post does not makes sense as you have pretty much answered all the questions.
Regarding my question
- Service to the property. What is the likely method by which Openreach will install fibre to my property?
Your reply suggests that a 2nd round of street trenching is likely to install ducting and straws. I'll be surprised if that is the case. I did wonder if Openreach have an accommodation with Cityfibre for "last hundred meters" installation where since straws and tobys have already been installed.

If I had access to both Openreach and CityFibre FTTP, I'd be choosing CityFibre as -
- CityFibre is symmetrical up and down speeds, where Openreach has much slower upload speeds
- CityFibre is usually cheaper than OpenReach (for comparable download speeds)
- CityFibre typically have 2.5Gb capable ONTs and often update to newer models, Openreach typically fit 1Gb ONTs
- The fastest CityFibre package is 2.5Gb/2.5Gb, Openreach are 1.6Gb/115Mb

OpenReach do not have an 'accommodation' with CF - they will lay their FTTP cables in their own ducting, which may suggest some extra work. BT/OR and CF are competitors, and although there can be PIA agreements between altnets and OpenReach, it sounds as though your location is one where the current infrastructure is 'unusual'.
As asked previously, sight of the BT Broadband checker result for your property would enable those of us with the knowledge to advise of the potential routing.

Posting a screen image will help members advise on what's available and any problems that may be encountered.
As stated OR don't use CityFbre ducts, but it does happen the other way around.
I have both OR and CF FTTP available. If I were to change to CF in the futuer, they would use my OR house duct to get their fibre to my house.
