Even though I have responded to and started my own thread plenty of times in the past - and am logged in - I don't seem to have the option to respond to any posts. I can't understand what's stopping me. Any ideas?

Thre's nothing of yours in the spam filter. How old is the post to which you are trying to respond? Is it showing as locked?
