seems odd that the PN Agent seemed unaware of the process -

i suspect they misunderstood and thought you wished to retain the landline as it was with BT

Fair enough !

You could spend that £60 per year difference on a decent router that supports traffic QoS (which the Plusnet Hub-2 doesn't)

My offers are different prices - FF145 is more expensive so only £24/yr difference between 145 / 500

Given that there is a difference between prices on our screenshots, perhaps you should contact Plusnet sales to haggle the lower price if you wanted to go for FF145 ?, otherwise just go for FF500.

I believe the cheaper prices ( plus reward cards ) is for new customers

Yes, but that is typically an indication of how low Plusnet sales/retentions will haggle down to for existing customers who are willing to challenge their renewal/offer prices.

Anyway, good luck with your upgrade !
