Remove username from rDNS on static IP

Hi, there seems to be a privacy leak through rDNS on my static IP where my username is revealed in the hostname. Like many resolved threads before, this seems to be the way to request the removal of my username from the hostname. Please can this be cleared for me? I hear it can be set to {ip address}.plus.com or similar, which would be fine.
