Replacement YouView Controller

Could someone either explain or contact me regarding obtaining a new replacement youview controller, please.

I have been a plusnet customer for many years and have never recieved any replacement or upgraded hardware. I have tried reporting this through the complaints section, but there is not a clear route to solve this issue.

Please help.

@Ianp64 Plusnet no longer offer a TV service, and I doubt they have any hardware for it - the service was withdrawn quite a while ago.

So how do i get a handset to operate my youview box ?.

Did you not get one with it, or are you saying yours is broken?

Sorry, i should have been more precise. I have had the box and handset from new ( quite a few years ), now the handset is broken, so cannot operate the box ( except for using the set top buttons, not ideal ).

OK, now I understand. Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to that - maybe one of the more experienced Community members can answer the question, but no guarantees - In what way is it broken?

It "got wet" and even after 24hrs drying out, it won't work.

Hi There is a good chance it will be a Humax box just need the modal

There are are many on EBay for about £6/7 I purchased a replacement  a few years ago

Thanks for the info. I just thought plusnet might have some old/new stock that they could pass on.

@Ianp64 - I'm not sure we do. The official response is definitely a 'no' as we no longer replace faulty/broken TV hardware. That said, if you give me a nudge early next week, I'll see if there's anything I can do as an exception.
