I've just tried with Google and turning Safesearch off is not an option any more. Excellent, thank you very much!

Excellent! It's back on and can no longer be disabled! Thanks so much to the folks that got this resolved, and special thanks indeed go to @outcast for helping me make the case!

 

@bobpullen thanks for letting me know. Do you have any tips for how to communicate this more clearly should it ever happen again, so that it can get resolved more quickly? (although I suppose I could just link to this topic) Thanks again for your help!

@CuriousSideny - I’d say it would probably still get the most traction here. Like you say, hopefully easier now that there’s an historic record of the problem.

For info, the problem was the unwanted product of some remedial work carried out on the wider DNS platform in February. If you look hard enough, you’ll find similar complaint existed on the BT Community forum too.

Thanks to those that flagged it and apologies for the frustration getting the message heard.
