Re: Safeguard won't stay enabled

There was a bit of dodgy data associated with your accounts which was stopping it from working.  We've now got a fix for when it's reported to us, and I'm looking at a wider clean up to make sure any other people aren't affected in future.

Re: Safeguard won't stay enabled

Hi Kelly, could you please also apply the fix on my account?  I’ve had the same problem with SafeGuard not switching on.  It seemed to start when I upgraded my fibre speed a few months ago, but that could just be a coincidence.

Thanks very much,

Kelly

@graham_s PM over your username and I'll get it raised!   When did you upgrade to fibre, out of interest?

Re: Safeguard won't stay enabled

Hi I'm having problems with safeguard too. It's not blocking anything. I type in naked ladies shows me a whole load of images. I have 3 children and I don't want them to come across any of this. Let's me access porn sites too. Please help.

Re: Safeguard won't stay enabled

@bitzy007 I presume you've tried to turn it on but it's turned itself off?  Can you check if it's still enabled?   If it's seems to be turning itself off, then I need your username and I'll have a look.

Re: Safeguard won't stay enabled

Hi Kelly, the only issue we're having now is when we put in certain websites on the allowed list it still blocks the site. Is there anything that can be done about that? Thanks

Re: Safeguard won't stay enabled

Safeguard is on, iv ticked all the categories to block content eg nudity, porn etc. Once I did that I restarted my router as it says it can take upto 2 hrs for it to work. I went back on did another search for 'naked ladies' the images that came up were disgusting. So safeguard didn't work.

Re: Safeguard won't stay enabled

@bitzy007 Hi, I've checked and it appears to be enabled properly.  Can you call up the call centre and discuss with one of our team?  They'll a bit more info to work out what's happening here.

@lynncarson @graham_s

You are both affected.  I've raised an action to fix this for you.  Hopefully done early next week!

Re: Safeguard won't stay enabled

I have the same problem.

Trying on the safegaurd , however later it turn off automatically. Not blocking any site at all, rally worrying about the kids.
