Re: Service Status not accesible

Do they give further details - like certificate owner/issuer/valid dates?

Re: Service Status not accesible

@OldRuby On further checking, I see what you mean. Maybe  @JonoH could help us?

If it helps, this is the resulting page detail:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to plusnet.servicestatus.net. Peer’s Certificate has been revoked.

Error code: SEC_ERROR_REVOKED_CERTIFICATE

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem.

Re: Service Status not accesible

All it says is

The certificate used by this server has been marked as untrustworthy and the connection is not safe.
Try connecting again later or from a different internet connection.

Re: Service Status not accesible

@OldRuby I can't remember all the details, but I looked fairly deeply into the certificate status, and it appears to have been cancelled - in error or not, and by whom, I don't know. Which is why I tagged JonoH.

Re: Service Status not accesible

Cheers, @seebee . I may be wrong, but I wonder if it has anything to do with the 'simplification' of the PN website?

Re: Service Status not accesible

Does look like the cert (or at least one of the certs in the trust chain) has been revoked.

I've raised it internally for somebody to take a look (ref: IMT-8160).

Re: Service Status not accesible

As of now 15:10 28/2/23 the service status page is unavailable - it times out.  I tried accessing from the community service announcement page button and (ironically) that too timed out. Link being used is https://plusnet.servicestatus.net › plusnet › status  with the result <An error occurred during a connection to plusnet.servicestatus.net.>

I tried from an Android tablet and same result.  Since the service obviously is working, has yet another problem raised its head?  I don't often need to use this page, but when troubleshooting its good to know if its you or me (normally me).

Re: Service Status not accesible

@Chilternphil Looks like that link is 'having trouble'. The best bet if you are having an issue is to raise it on the relevant board, where either staff or other Community members will pick it up.
