Re: Website gone

crewetwon.co.uk isn't currently registered with anyone.  Is that domain definitely correct or has registration lapsed?

Even then, I doubt there would be much Plusnet could do with you on the hosting side as it isn't your account.  Your sister-in-law could have purposely taken it down or closed her Plusnet account, which she would be entitled to do as the account holder, though Plusnet wouldn't be able to discuss any of that with you due to GDPR.

Thanks @Dan_the_Van, I did wonder about a typo, but couldn't spot what the end part could be!

Not sure I have fully understood this, but if the domain is yours (a free domain name handed out by F9/PN in the early days?) then you would probably be able to ask PN to change the DNS and/or nameservers (not sure of the technical terms) to point at a different web-location.

eg if you set up an account elsewhere, for hosting - somewhere like Mythic Beasts at £2.50/month - and uploaded your website content there, you could then ask PN to point crewetown.co.uk towards the website's new location (or transfer the hosting of the domain name there completely).

... however all this rests on who actually *owns* the crewetown.co.uk domain.  If it's definitely yours, I don't think there would be a problem (but no doubt someone on here will correct me if that's wrong).
