80/20 gone back to 40/10

Unifi DreamMachine was 74-75. Fab
Woke up this morning to see modem has reverted to 40/10 around 6am.
Whats going on?

Hi @Tristramd, thanks for getting in touch and I'm sorry to hear you're having speed issues at the moment. I can see when looking over your connection from this side the product looks to have certainly changed to the 80/20 however it looks like there's banding currently on our suppliers side limiting the speeds to 40Mbps. In which case, I've put through the request to remove the banding and this should be actioned in the next 3-5 working days at most.
Let us know how it goes moving forwards and should you still be seeing the speed issues come this time next week then please let us know and we'll happily chase this up further for you.

Why would banding be applied? If I didn’t have an early alarm this morning I wouldn't of known that it did connect to 80/20 for a few hours. ha

Hi @Tristramd and thanks for getting back to me and you're very welcome. We do see from time to time after a modify order has been put through on a service and banding can soon be applied side. I'm not too sure what causes this but I'm confident that through our unbanding process we have with our suppliers that we should be able to correct this for you in the next 3-5 working days.
