Blue light only at top and bottom of router

Hi

Just cut the cord with sky and got myself plusnet Full Fibre 500 and a freesat box.

Connected up my Hub2 FTTP router and all went pretty well. Only thing I noticed was only a yellow plugged cable was in the box and instructions say to use red plugged cable also the blue light doesn't light up all the way round! Does that signify anything as set up video shows full circular blue light. Everything seems to be working ok though.

The red and yellow cables are exactly the same. A red one is normally supplied with an FTTP connection as it makes the instructions simpler i.e plug the red cable into the red socket!

I'm not sure if the light is actually meant to be a full circle and \i don't have my hub 2 to hand at the moment to check.

Everything seems to be working ok though.

In that case , I wouldn't worry.

Yes, the blue (or other colours too!) lights are only top and bottom....

Just for information - if  the lights bother you you can turn them off in the Hub2.
