@Edinburgh_wg Actually for FTTC and FTTP it is exactly the same head end equipment in the exchange until it is passed by a cablelink to the ISP's backhaul network. You may be incorrectly thinking of old ADSL LLU services where the suppliers such as Sky and TalkTalk did have there own exchange equipment. There is no equivalent to LLU on FTTC and FTTP.
