@Champnet Your downstream speed is banded, i.e. capped at 74Mbps. If you ask Plusnet to request a DLM reset you should be able to get a higher sync speed.

@RealAleMadrid Thanks, I did notice that, the previous GEA test showed downstream unbanded .
I'm trying to understand a daily SNR problem.
@LaurenB or any other Plusnet staff could you please arrange a DLM reset as this may help. Thanks in anticipation.

Yes your line is banded 74Meg. Be careful as there seem new ruling on DLM resetted as Openreach has told the isp this: we can request a remote DLM reset if the circuit has been stable with no errors or drops for at least ten days when the line are banded.
That's what PN did for me on my FTTC once ages ago when my line was banded at 74Meg. First one was rejected by Openreach but Gandalf try to request it second time and it was accepted and the line was fully resetted and back to 80Meg after few days because of G.INP switched back on when the G.INP was turned off after resetted. You need to wait for approx 3-5 days before seeing the full speed back on.

Thanks @goldenfibre . G.INP is enabled as part of the trials and the connected speed is always shown as 73999. The line has been stable for over a year. Daily overnight changes in the SNR can cause the actual download speed to fluctuate between mid 50's and mid 60's Mb. If I have to re-boot the modem/router I can only get the higher speed if I do it in the middle of the night. Unfortunately these speeds are well above the guaranteed speed of 43 Mb. Openreach took the line down for twelve days in June last year to replace the telegraph pole, not sure if these problems started then but hoping a DLM reset may reset the whole connection.

Very important, when the line has been resetted you might noticed G.INP is turned off but it will enabled next few days and let DLM get your line back to 80Meg.
Don't reboot it yourself as it will make it lots worse making DLM think there is a fault on the line.

I can see your stats as it appear you on ECI cabinet not the huawei cabinet as most ECI doesn't have any G.INP but I heard OPenreach trial on ECI to have G.INP rolled out here: https://www.ispreview.co.uk/index.php/2020/06/openreach-extend-g-inp-to-more-eci-fttc-broadband-line...
ECI was
IFTN:0xb206 (178.6) / v0xb206
Huawei was
BDCM:0xc190 (193.144) / v0xc190
Apology I can see your line does have G.INP enabled on ECI cabinet. Which it good news. You should getting 80/20 soon.
Added:
I just noticed your stats here below: The max rate appear very low on fast path. With your current SNR 2.5dB - make me think DLM might not getting your line to maximum speed 80/20.
Max: Upstream rate = 17201 Kbps, Downstream rate = 62840 Kbps Bearer: 0, Upstream rate = 20000 Kbps, Downstream rate = 73999 Kbps Bearer: 1, Upstream rate = 0 Kbps, Downstream rate = 0 Kbps Link Power State: L0 Mode: VDSL2 Annex B VDSL2 Profile: Profile 17a TPS-TC: PTM Mode(0x0) Trellis: U:ON /D:ON Line Status: No Defect Training Status: Showtime Down Up SNR (dB): 2.5 3.0 Attn(dB): 15.8 0.0 Pwr(dBm): 6.8 6.7

@goldenfibre G.INP was enabled as part of the Plusnet trials. Stats page does show it’s enabled on the download stream.

Yes I did see it.Your is G.INP enabled but interleaved at fast path 1:1 but max rate only show below:
Max: Upstream rate = 17246 Kbps, Downstream rate = 62894 Kbps
When my line was banded on my FTTC I was G.INP enabled and interleaved at 16:1 but my max rate was 83/24 but banded at 74/20 before it resetted at 80/20 with max rate of 82/22 with the same SNR at 6dB (unchanged)
It's appear your line banded 74Meg but max rate only 62Meg with G.INP enabled and SNR 2.5dB - don't think it will gain you any extra speed after DLM resetted. There is no room for 80Meg.
I would be very surprised if after DLM resetted your line rate could reduced to 62 from 74.
