Denying my internet connection and not bothering to offer support...

Hub has decided to turn orange and stay orange. Two factory resets and it doesn't really budge.

24/7 internet isn't being offered by PlusNet, the ISP that thinks faults only happen between the hours of 8am-6pm when they decide to have telephone support.

I was told that moving from unreliable copper to super-duper "reliable" fibre would sort things out.

Yes, it has been more reliable than losing my internet connection three times a week, but still, losing it twice a month is also crossing my red line.

Looks like I have to be off back to Sky Broadband. Or any other ISP. This is wretched.

@peteprodge At the risk, as happened in your previous issue' of not getting a reply that helps us to help you:

Very few(if any) residential-grade ISPs offer 24/7 support, in fact  off the top of my head I can't think of any.

FTTC - which you appear to be on, despite posting this in the Full Fibre board, is more reliable than ADSL, but can still suffer from issues, usually, but not always, caused by the copper between you and the street cabinet. It can also happen if there is a wider issue, such as the failure of equipment further down the line.

If you go to 'any other supplier' who use the OpenReach network, you will suffer the same issues.

Try reporting the problem.

Have you tried the on-line faults report pages?  https://faults.plus.net
