Hi, I'm considering changing to Full Fibre.
1) How long does the process take ? i.e. will I be without broadband for long ?
2) Does the Full Fibre router have RJ45 sockets ?
Thanks for the help

Being cheeky, a further Q if I may :-
The ONT needs to be sited within 1 metre of a powerpoint. Is this a strict rule ? And if so ,is it powered on a 13amp standard plug ?

The ONT power brick is a standard 13amp plug connection. It has about 1m of cable to the ONT hence the requirement to be within 1m of a mains socket

I only have a Hub1 so can't answer the RJ45 question.
Install should only result in a couple of hours downtime at the most, perhaps far less.
You are aware you lose your phone number with PlusNet Full Fibre.

Does the Full Fibre router have RJ45 sockets ?
@AnRu the Hub 2 has 3(three) RJ45 LAN sockets and 1(one) RJ45 WAN socket which ( on Full Fibre ) is used to connect to the ONT

@bmc phone sockets would be RJ11 but in case that was what @AnRu meant
The Hub 2 does not have any (working) phone sockets. It shares the same hardware as the BT Smart hub which does, but the socket is blanked on the PN Hub2 since PN do not support digital voice

If you have no mains outlet close enough to your required location, I suspect with a little ingenuity and a suitable PoE adaptor it may be possible to power the ONT from a PoE switch or injector, but probably best to do that after the installation is complete. In the meantime you'd probably get away with just using an extension cable, which is what a friend did several years ago.

That's an interesting though - powering the Router over PoE.
I wonder if @bobpullen will comment on the possibility.
