Full Fibre external & internal boxes

Evening all,

I am looking to upgrade to full fibre and Plusnet says that they need to install a box on the outside of the property and one on the inside (the fibre will be coming overhead from existing telephone poles).

My wife doesn't want to commit without seeing/knowing what the boxes look like and how big they are as she doesn't want anything ugly on/in the house (no comment).

Does anyone have any images of the exterior and interior boxes along with dimensions?

Thanks!!

@akiproud

The internal boxc (ONT) will look something like this. It's about the size of a phone or power socket.

@akiproud It is grey, and around the same size.

@akiproud there's an Openreach ( they are the people who do the installation ) guide here https://www.openreach.com/help-and-support/full-fibre-broadband-installation-checklist#accordion-b43...

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Fix

@akiproud

From the link provided by @MisterW the external (grey) box appears to be about 15cm x 13cm. It's called a Customer Splice Point (I think) or CSP for short.

There is some leeway as to where the fibre comes into the house. Tt doesn't have to be exactly where your phone line enters though if they can use that it saves drilling a new hole and the current BT socket could be replaced with the ONT.
