Full fibre 900mb just getting to 530mb

Hi!

I recently had the 900mb full fibre installed, Openreach came to my house yesterday and installed the ont.

The problem is that I hired the 900mb package but I am only getting 530mb down and 106mb upload when I do a speed test in any device and on the router itself.

Is anyone from Plusnet able to have a look at my connection? Or even @Gandalf, he has helped me a lot when I moved home some years ago.

Wired, and I am also doing speed test on the router itself.

I'm not sure that the speed test actually runs on the router itself, it merely links to the BT wholesale test which runs on the connected device.

So you have any other device available that can do a wired test ? just to rule out the device as being the issue.

Yes I have tried on my laptop and also on my desktop. I called plusnet and they are sending an engineer tomorrow. I will update here then.
