They came today, and said the one at the back if the house won't be configured, so a different guy reinstalled everything again at the front of the house.
I now have to payout to connect the ONT to my ethernet PC at the back of the house (it has no wifi) The ONT did not come with its own ethernet cable, so now I'm off line completely as copper is no longer working (probs cable interference.) No-one tells you the ont needs it's own separate power supply.
Is there an email address that I can get this sorted? ( in addition to my billing query,) the support link just takes me to help wizards.
At least can Open Reach provide its own ethernet cable.

The ethernet cable is provided with the Plusnet router. If the router was provided originally for Full fibre , then it will have a cable with Red ends. If an existing HUb 2 is being used , then use the cable that came with that (it will have yellow ends but it doesnt matter) . Either way, ensure that the cable connects from the Red WAN port on the router to the ONT.
As regards power for the ONT, the installer should have checked you were aware that the ONT needed power and agreed the position with you.

The installer attached the fibre cable to the drainpipe between houses. Not sure what's going to happen if the neighbour wants to replace his downpipe.
If I can get online proper (my pc is useless now) I'll raise a formal complaint. Borrowing a laptop.
