Openreach offered plusnet to opt out of DLM Profile but instead choosed to keep it.
I have it confirmed today ( Berlive me on good Authority ) that they are using DLM Profile on your Full Fibre Connection..
It is not needed on Full Fibre Connection.
This is why your speeds are fluctuating.

Perhaps you're just here to try and wind people up, but you seem to know nothing everything about how things work, so I assume you realise if you've terminated a fresh contract with PN to move to another provider you'll be receiving a hefty bill for doing so.

@tyga2025 I don't know where this nonsense story has come from but the only element of truth in your posts in relation to DLM is ...
It is not needed on a Full Fibre Connection
That is correct it doesn't exist at all on FTTP.
Best of luck with your early termination charges.

@RobPN , @RealAleMadrid I think @tyga2025 was a little late with his/her 'April Fool' joke. 🤣

Plusnet uses DLM (Dynamic Line Management) on full fiber connections, even though it's a full fiber service, because they're still using the same Openreach infrastructure that was originally designed for copper-based services, and DLM is a mechanism to optimize performance on those lines.

@tyga2025 FF runs over completely different infrastructure - as you have been told previously - it does not touch the roadside cabs which contain the DLM mechanism.
Where are you getting your wholly erroneous information from?

@jab1, Yes your correct in what your saying But not correct when we are talking about Plusnet.
If you do not want to belive that , Check with there IT
I know exactly what infrastructure should be in place when running FFTP Services.
Plusnet do not have that in place
Argue what you like but it is a fact
