New Fibre Connection

Morning

(Openreach installed Fibre onto my poles around a month ago)

 

Had My 900 Fibre Installed on the 9th ( im semi rural im in the first in my area to get fibre installed)

 

Engineer did the install and said that the line hasent been activated yet as its new and im first customer, he told me it would be activated on the 10th as he has to send my details off..however it still wasent working yesterday

 

Im currently using mobile data to work from the computer and its eating it, luckily im in the office rest of the week.

before i go phoning and making complaints as they cut my old phone line off the pole leaving me without internet altogether, the Small modem they installed inside the house has 1 green and 1 red light showing..do i need todo anything myself?

On the ONT its the LOS light is red

 

Power - Green

LOS -  Red

POS - Unlit

Lan - Green

Disconnect or fault in the fibre network! Nothing you can do other than call Plusnet to find out what the situation is.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Yes the engineer did say the line on the pole wasent active yet, but would be within 24 hours, and that was at 3pm monday afternoon

honestly im a little annoyed that they are selling a product and cant provide it within a reasonable time, the main bt exhange for my area is 100 yards away from me aswell
