So that says that your MINIMUM expected upload speed is 6Mbps but your results today have shown 0.587Mbps.

 

If I were you, I would first run the "BT Broadband Performance Test"
    https://speedtest.btwholesale.com/

Click on the GO button and let the test run.

When it has completed, click on the [Additional Diagnostic] button
In the "Additional Diagnostic" window, select the box [Telephone Number (DN)]
then in the box below type in your telephone number
and then hit the [Run Diagnostic] button

Doing this will automatically send a test result to Plusnet who can then see what you experienced when the line was slow or showing a high ping


Then use the Plusnet "Fault Reporter" at
     http://faults.plus.net/
where Plusnet can help you fix the upload speed problem and consequently reduce the likelihood of seeing those >200ms pings.

@Anonymous great advice.

Just did that and results are = 352 Ms ping
I'm sending the report to them

I'm sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with the service. I've tested your line this evening and have discovered an external landline fault, which is likely causing the problem. I've raised a fault ticket on your account regarding this, which can be found here.

Thanks for the detailed info.

 

I've done the BTW Performance check - 172ms ping on that.

 

Somewhat ironically, the fault reporting page is down for maintenance, so I'll try that later.

Actually, I just noticed on the BTW Performance check this message:

Summary Advanced Test

Your speed test has completed and the results are shown above, however during the test an error occurred while trying to retrieve additional details regarding your service. As a result we are unable to determine if the speed you received during the test is acceptable for your service. Please re-run the test if you require this additional information.

 

I tried running the test again, but got the same message. This is after entering my phone number.
