Plusnet FFTP Services via Openreach Speeds Flucating

Plusnet uses DLM (Dynamic Line Management) on Full Fiber Connections, even though it's a Full Fiber service, because they're still using the Same Old Openreach infrastructure that was originally designed for copper-based services, and DLM is a mechanism to optimize performance on those lines.

Openreach gave Plusnet the option to opt out but they didn't.

@tyga2025 I suggest you read up on DLM - there is a good introduction to it at https://kitz.co.uk/adsl/DLM_system.htm.

Not only is it not used for FTTP, it couldn't be used on FTTP.
