Fault 0x3 can indicate that you hub is failing intermittently.

I can't answer your question directly. I have seen it mentioned previously, and, IIRC, it is an indication that something is not quite right with the router or network, but further than that I have real idea.
Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on you point of view), I have never seen or used a Hub1, so what I know is only what I pick upon the forums.

Thanks, @Baldrick1 - thought it was something like that, but didn't want to commit myself.

How long have you had the current hub, and how long have you to go to the end of your contract? It may be possible to persuade PN to send you a new one, or you could alternatively get a BT HH6 off that well known auction site, and have better all-round performance.

I am in contract until June 2022.
Doesn't seem fair PN can sell a service without equipment to use it?
Like buying a new car without an engine......

Plug and play? Not tried BT equipment on PN supply.

Yep - configuration/setup instructions are available on the 'My Router' board on the forum.

It looks like you are one of the lucky ones with FTTP available. It will cost you a bit more but have you considered moving into the 21st century and going for this service? If you ring Plusnet they will allow you to transfer to BT or EE without paying the cancellation charge.

Thanks for your post @Ridethesplit
I'm sorry to see you're having issues with your connection.
Line tests are showing DLM's banded your speed at 35mbps likely due to the drops you're getting. If you can report a fault at faults.plus.net and post back once you've done so, we can arrange an engineer visit to investigate further.
FTTP is indeed available for you and as per the advice above if you move to BT or EE we'll waive any termination fees. We'd just ask that you'd call our Customer Options Team on 0800 013 2632 to discuss and arrange.

@Baldrick1
Many thanks for your help 25mbps vs 150mbps is a no brainer really.
Phoned support as per Gandalfs advice and BT is on its way.
Not bad for £5 more a month.....
Anyone want a second hand PN Hub. One previous owner?
