Reverse DNS for Static IP Address

Hello,

It seems posting here is the only option to request Plusnet to update the reverse DNS for my static IP. The website says use the wizard which itself says "you can no longer ask a question here". I called support and after much to-ing and fro-ing they sent me a link to a guide about adding DNS records to a domain.

The question is 234662601 - I added a comment explaining this was not what I was after but no reply.

Basically I'd just like my username removed from the reverse, I'm happy for a generic or no reverse or a custom plus.com one as I've suggested in the ticket.

Any help much appreciated!

Hey there, 

 

I can sort this out for you. You have 3 options:

Static IP

Domain (so long as it is pointing towards your static)

Username.
