Hi
My upstream sync speed is only showing 11Mbps, whereas I was under the impression I should be allowed up to 20Mbps?
BT suggests it's capable too:
Can this be investigated please?

Just like the download speed the upstream is determined by how far you are away from your local FTTC cabinet and the state of the cabling to your home. I'm afraid that it's not an 'allowance' it's simple physics.
You are obviously at the lower end of your estimated speed range, with the upstream slightly less. Unfortunately upstream speed is not included in your Plusnet minimum speed guarantee.
Having said that have you done the basic checks to see if both your downstream and upstream speed can be improved?
Speed tests should always be carried out on a computer connected to the hub over an Ethernet cable.
Try a quiet line test by ringing 17070 and selecting option 2. If there's any noise report a phone fault.
Remove the front from your BT master socket. You may need to remove two screws. plug a filter in the test socket that you will find inside and connect that to your hub and see if there's any improvement.

Yes done all that. No difference.
I was under the impression my upload was being restricted at the Plusnet end, as 20Mbps never used to be the maximum available, and whether my account had been changed to allow the new speed.
