Usage report

I logged in to my Plusnet HubOne and it reports excessive transmitted data that I cannot explain:

Connection time: 21 days, 00:02:29
Data Transmitted/Received: 51.1 GB / 156.9 GB

 

I have no sharing apps (that I know of). Download, with iPlayer, etc make sense. Any suggestions how I find out what is causing this?

I previously would have looked at the usage stats page in Plusnet My Account, but that no longer seems to be available.

It records data since the last factory reset, not the connection time. So this could be a total of several years data, not 3 weeks worth.

Thanks, it's still a bit of an odd ratio, I mean, I use iPlayer, YouTube, etc all the time, practically never upload anything, so that seems strange to me.

As you mentioned in my 'clear evbent log' thread, I hope that a reset will clear this too.

We wouldn't be able to see what apps / categories are using your data to be honest @aks100

I cleared the box (reset pin) and monitored for a day:

Connection time: 0 days, 19:12:32
Data Transmitted/Received: 191.9 MB / 7.1 GB

 

Seems more in line with my expectations.

Of course, working from home more often, using video calls to reach family members too, all contributes to a very different usage pattern. I'll continue to monitor and report back if I detect anything suspicious.
