I am thinking of switching to full fibre when my currant contract ends. But if I stay with plusnet it appears I cant do that. Why is not possable, as some providers do allow it. Very short sited on plusnets part I think.

They took a commercial decision not to offer phone services with FTTP.
Apparently there is a "Right to Port" being introduced in April mandated by Ofcom but I have no idea how or if this works.
You can stay with PN and keep your number but you need to sign up as a new customer and select "Keep your number" when offered as part of the sign up process. This means you'll have two accounts for a short while - you port your number out to a VOIP provider ASAP to cancel your original account. You'll pay for both accounts while they're up and running.
You also lose your current login id, email address and any other add on you may have.

As other providers BT And Vodafone being two provide this service, I think I will be changing provider when my contract ends. I do not want two contracts and there will be extra costs involved. think Plusnet should have a rethink as I am shaw they will loose customers

If you ring the Customer Options Team on 0800 013 2632 they can arrange to transfer you to the BT Full Fibre service with Digital Phone without you incurring early cancellation charges from Plusnet.
