Hello, new here.
The connection to my router has been dropping randomly where it suddenly flashes orange, then takes 3-5 minutes to connect up again.
Any advice on this topic would be greatly appreciated!

OK. It's a long time to wait to post the problem, but can I ask if you are connected using your proper PN credentials, or is it showing as 'setup@plusdsl

That's one avenue of investigation closed then. Could you post the WAN event logs?

I'll try and record the logs when it goes down again, as it's slipped my memory of when it happened. Sorry about the inconvenience.

The current logs would still possibly be of use - if I recall correctly, they cover quite a period.

I think from those that it needs PN Help Team investigation. Hopefully they will pick it up tomorrow.

Hi @laiyoong, thanks for getting in touch and I'm sorry to hear you've been having connection issues as of recent.
Checking over your connection from this side to the router we can see plenty of drops occuring which certainly hint something is out of place somewhere as seen by the graph below:
Our testing from this side is also detecting the fault " Impairment in copper joint " however it's not clear whether this is being caused by something internal or external to the property so I'd recommend firstly trying the below internal checks to see if the drops look to persist.
I'd recommend starting with basic checks here: http://goo.gl/p2tpvL
And if that doesn't help the next thing would be to rule your internal wiring out by plugging the connection into your test socket which is under the faceplate of your master socket and seeing if the drops stop. This rules out internal wiring, face plates and extension sockets as being the cause. How to locate the test socket and set your connection into it can be found here:
https://community.plus.net/t5/Library/Testing-From-The-Master-Socket/ba-p/1322242
Should the drops look to persist when in the test socket set-up then please get back to us and we'll happily help progress this further for you.
