Wifi problem - Connected but no internet

I have had this issue for a number of years now and I am getting pretty fed up with it, so I am wondering if anybody else here has had the same problem or knows of a solution.

Every few hours my phones/tablets will encounter a problem with the wifi where it says "connected but no internet".

My roku tv, laptops and wired computers do not encounter this problem, only wifi phone/tablets, which is a bit strange.

I have tried to troubleshoot this in the past and use the dual band functionality etc.. but couldn't find what the problem was. I even got a new router from plustnet, which didn't fix it.

I'm sorry to see you're having wireless issues.

I can see both the dual band wireless frequencies (2.4GHz and 5GHz) are merged into a single network name, so I'd firstly recommend splitting them into separate network names going through the steps explained Here.

If you have issues with carrying out those steps, I'll be happy to carry out the changes on your behalf.
