upgrade no difference to speed

had 500mbs previously, max speed i got was 300mbs. got an "upgrade" today to 900, got the email confirmation that is complete. still not getting above 300mbs (wifi or Lan), although upload has went from 60 to 100. rebooted, even tried another router, still the same. any help is appreciated.

Re: upgrade no difference to speed

300Mb using WiFi is reasonable but if you can confirm that a wired connection using the Plusnet router doesn't achieve 900Mb then I'd suggest you raise a fault. Don't accept any fob off about speed taking time to stabilise, that's rubbish, FTTP goes at the provisioned speed immediately

Re: upgrade no difference to speed

Hey @simeylad

I’m sorry to hear about the speed issues you’re experiencing. I have run some tests on your line and found no faults. However, as @MisterW suggested, I would like to see the results you get on a hard-wired connection
