Answerphone service is included in our package & is showing as switched on in the account, when 1571 dialled it says the service is not active. Can this be corrected? Thanks

hi im new here so i hope i posted in the right place.
anyway i got a problem with 1571 its activated on my account but its not working it says 1571 not activated etc, can this be sorted, definaly not my phone first thing i checked.
