1572 Call Protect Number Blocker - Leave a Message Option

We use the 1572 Call Protect number blocker but it allows a caller to leave a message. The whole point of us using Call Protect is because we don't want calls from these numbers, nor do we want to give them the option to leave a message.

We have 1571 voicemail disabled but we can't find an option to disable 1572 blocked number messages.

 Is it possible to do this?

I quite agree.  I haven't even activated it on my line as the caller being able to leave a message seems to defeat the whole point.

Hi @caravanj, thanks for your post.

Unfortunately, you're not able to turn off the junk voicemail feature. That being said, it shouldn't interrupt your dialing tone in the same way as regular voicemail and so we'd recommend simply not listening to the voicemails.

Once 10 are stored, the oldest would be deleted by the system if a new one comes in.

We activated Call Protect as it does it's job of stopping the calls coming through but we'd like the option of making it clear to those callers that we don't want any contact with them by not inviting them to leave message.

@OskarPapa; Does Call Protect only store 10 numbers?

We don't listen to any messages, it's the fact that it gives the caller the impression that we might still want contact with them, when we don't.

Just checked, it stores 100 numbers.
