Called id is not working so call Guardian does not work

Ever since Openreah fixed a line problem caller id has stopped working. Caller id is needed to let VIP numbers through in BT Call guardian. Plusnet have tried turning off this feature and the back on as a reset but still no joy. This has been a problem for 2 months now. It seems like the caller id is not coming down the phone line. I have even tried with different phones so it’s not a hardware issue on my side

This is probably a fault in the cabinet or exchange. Are you of FTTC or ADSL?
I somewhat recall that a line card fault can cause this issue with ADSL subscribers. Also IIRC something not done correctly on a ADLS to FTTC upgrade can cause the same symptoms.
Call support and ask them to raise a line fault with BTOR.
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
