I cant seem to make or receive calls on my landline comes up unrecognised number when people call. Cables and broadband seem ok though.

Thge easiest option is to report a phone fault using the automatic bot on your mobile phone.. See https://www.plus.net/help/report-a-problem/phone/#phone
