Complete removal of my phone number entry from all directories

I just want to have myself deleted from all directories, including the BT, 118, etc. I want it to be impossible for someone to find me in any directory or enquiry service. Thanks.

As far as I am aware Plusnet do not add your phone number to any directories, that is, the number is ex directory.

However they cannot put back time. If it's already out there then there's nothing that they can do about it.

You could of course see if you can change your number.

Be aware that scammers use a computer to ring numbers at random and if this is your problem then buy a phone that includes a BT TruCall blocker function. This will allow you to vet any callers before you decide whether you want to answer them plus automatically block the automated callers used by scammers.

As before, you can’t put back time. Search engines have been constantly trawling for information for many years and have a long, long memory.
