Landline not working

Just got back off holiday to discover my landline is not working,  broadband is working but only getting 22 Mbps. 

Reported the fault via text to the Plusnet diagnostic bot which initially said it couldn't find any problem with my line, but then said it would do further tests & get back to me in 30 mins.

That was at 07:43 this morning. It is now 12.55 with no further contact, what do I do now ?

I had a similar fault on Monday (9th Sept). In my case the bot did reply after doing more tests and said "We've found a network outage in your local area affecting a number of customers. We aim to fix it by 16/09/2024 by 17:13" - so one week from when I reported it. I think my line comes from Crowthorne. The last time this happened thieves had stolen 600m of cable.

Did you try replying ADVISOR to the text message?
