My phone line is permanently engaged

My landline is permanently engaged , I have tried another phone and filter ect. I called a NHS reception on my mobile this morning for a doctors ring back on my main land line but no reply, my nephew has been trying to phone me all morning and its always engaged.

Have you recently renewed your Plusnet contract for another 12 , 18, or 24 month term ?

just joined february, I am not getting out going calls either as well as incoming.

Assuming that your mobile phone number is registered in your Plusnet contact details in the "Member Centre"
under the "Manage Account" tab, try doing this using your mobile -

been using mobile for outgoing and landline for incoming so last call in was last night.

Yes, but if you use your mobile to send the text message as shown in my previous post,
the Plusnet computer will automatically test your landline to see if it detects a fault,
and if so will initiate an engineer call-out to perform a repair.

@Georg Who were you with before joing PN?
PN stopped providing voice/phone services last year.
Have you moved the phone service to a VOIP provider? If not you have lost your number.

@Georg Are you sure you've got a landline phone service ?
Openreach have had a stop-sell since Sept last year, so if you joined in Feb I don't understand how you would have a landline service!
What Plusnet product are you on ?
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

I was with origin before plusnet, and yes I have a broadband and phone line package with incoming calls only and pay for outgoing calls, We have only just got a mast fitted for 02 mobile nearby, so thats helps a little. I have already sent my home number to the plusnet text number so just waiting on update .

@Georg I fear you have missunderstood the package, no doubt it said it included line rental, however as already mentioned no phone service.

You should use your registered mobile to text the word PHONE to 07800008121
