I don't believe your phone sends the caller ID, but the BT Exchange / Plusnet. Are you seeing different behaviours with different home phones connected to your house?

Is it only mobiles you get this or all phones?

Thanks

As @minkey suggests, it's not your phone which sends Caller ID.

It's possible that an exchange fault is causing the problem, though I've not heard of that happening.

It seems more likely that your line has mistakenly had the Permanent Number Withhold facility applied. There are two versions - with override or without.

If it's the former, prefixing the dialled number with 1470 will forward your number for that individual call, so perhaps you could try that to see if it makes a difference.

Having said that, I can't see any reason why your problem would only apply to mobiles. Do you ever call landlines, and if so do they receive your ID?

A complex system that does not work is invariably found to have evolved from a simpler system that worked just fine

@paul0551 I've checked from my side and can see anything that can cause this. Please can you answer the below questions that will help;

Have you tried ringing a few mobile numbers on different providers not just your own or a family member?

Can you ring a landline to confirm the number shows?

Please dial 1470 before the number to see if that removes any number withholding.

Let us know how you get on thanks.
