Is it possible to port out a Plusnet landline number to a mobile phone SIM card so that if anyone calls the Plusnet landline number calls can be answered on the mobile phone?
Thank you in advance.
Steve.

Its not possible to port a landline number to a mobile sim directly. However , you could probably port to a voip service which then redirects to a mobile number.
Be aware though, Porting to voip will cease the landline and any associated broadband
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

If you port your landline phone number to a VoIP provider, you should be able to use a VoIP app on a mobile to act as your 'landline' handset.
Alternatively you could do this - A&A - SIP2SIM
.

It is actually (or so this company claims) possible to port a landline number to a SIM, and it works like any mobile number. No SIP / VoIP involved, just a SIM. Doesn't appear to just be a forwarded number to a mobile number either.
It's marketed to business but their social media posts say plenty use it for personal use.

£10 a month basic price.
Interested to see opinions or any experience especially porting number from PlusNet after ordering FTTP. No idea what they're like, but advert keeps coming up on my social feeds.
Be aware though, Porting to voip will cease the landline and any associated broadband
Assume reason for doing it is switching to FTTP as you lose the landline with PlusNet doing that. Hence interest in keeping the landline number even if it goes to mobile.
