Dialling 1571 just gets me an engaged tone and no messages or options. It was working ok up to now. Please investigate to reinstate. This has happened previously and you were able to fix it.

If not, then it’s likely that there’s an exchange issue, possibly impacting a number of users.
Try dialling in from a mobile phone - see if that clears the issue.
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Thanks for your reply. Yes I can dial out to another number. Dialling in from my mobile didn't clear the issue. Landline just rings for a while and then goes to engaged tone with no invitation to leave a message.
