Forum has gone quite, have we just of tired of waiting for IPv6 on plusnet?

Can't help but notice this forum has gone quite, with almost no posts any more.

Not a surprise I guess, the trial ended years ago, and plusnet shows no sign of actively adding IPv6 to its offering.

Have we all just got tired, or is it that anyone wanting IPv6 has just upped and left?

I'd like IPv6 myself @summers, but I'm willing to wait for the Plusnet offering as there's no real rush for me. My contracts are both due for renewal next month but chances are I'll be staying with them.

Whilst I could be regarded as an IPv6 evangelist its continued absence on Plusnet is not currently something which would make me move elsewhere once other more important (to me) factors have been considered (primarily reliability, customer service and cost).

I think it's a case of : some have gone elsewhere to an ISP that g.a.s; some are just very patient and aren't bothered by the delays; and some of us have resigned ourselves to Plusnet not offering a native capability any time soon and are making do with Hurricane Electric's Tunnelbroker service,

It really is starting to make Plusnet look "really bad" - actually they reached that point several years ago.

Be careful speaking for others; there's a very good chance of misrepresenting their position.

Re: Forum has gone quite, have we just of tired of waiting for IPv6 on plusnet?

last time Bob Bullen was active on the IPv6 forum he said

I've nothing to share on IPv6 deployment I'm afraid.
I'd be surprised if he would now be able to say anything else. Bob may well be involved behind the scenes, but plusnet has not made any public announcement, so Bob as a plusnet employee probably can't say any more.

Given that over a year has passed since his last statement I just wanted to check in for an update. Smiley

I moved ISP just over a year ago snd it certainly wasn't because of lack of IPv6 support.
I moved because G.Fast was available at my location.

@bobpullen Thanks for getting back to me. I suppose even a lack of new news is still news. Smiley
