31/3 price increase before my service upgrade has gone live?

I ordered an upgrade from my existing Plusnet FTTC service to the 500 Mb FTTP service last December at a price of 34.99/month, knowing that it would rise by £3/month on 31/3. Due to a (very) delayed install I still don't have the new service up and running, so is it reasonable for the price to increase to 37.99 when it finally goes live?

Has anybody been in a similar situation?

Yes same situation.

Not sure if automatic or just after I pointed out the issue, but my FTTP contract is 24 months from the actual instal date in April and at the current pricing for an existing customer upgrading (I have 2 PN accounts so can cross check)

Re: 31/3 price increase before my service upgrade has gone live?

Just checked my account and my 24 month contract runs from 18/12, the date I signed up for it, although it only went live on 14/4. On a positive note I had an original installation date of 8/1 booked which never happened as it took 3 months to bring the fibre from the other side of my cul-de-sac to my house, so PN have advised me that I should get around 360 quid in compensation/credit applied to my account.
