Cancellation notice period?

Hi folks,

Looks like we're leaving Plusnet at the end of this contract, in June. It isn't obvious to me whether I need to give any official notice of that, and if that is the case, how and where do I do it?

Thanks,

AB

Re: Cancellation notice period?

Fix

Thirty days notice either by phone (0800  432 0200 or 0800 013 2632)  or letter (recorded delivery) to:

Plusnet PLC

The Balance

2 Pinfold Street

Sheffield

S1 2GU

Although note if you are moving to another provider, sign up with them and allow the 'Gaining Provider Led' system to operate.

Re: Cancellation notice period?

@ACCB if you are moving to a new supplier who uses the Openreach network then you don't need to (and should not!) cancel directly with Plusnet. You contact the new supplier and they arrange the transfer and Openreach will inform PlusNet.

edit: I see @jab1 added that while I was typing

Re: Cancellation notice period?

Thanks.

Might just be going to Three for 4G broadband and the existing land line won't be used, so I assume the 'Gaining Provider Led' system won't apply.

Re: Cancellation notice period?

It won't, so you will have to use option (a) or (b) in my original post.
